Prepare to inject your holiday with a Sri Lanka-sized dose of adrenaline-pumping adventure. This whitewater rafting experience is all action from the word go. Fuel-up for the fun with a typical lunch and then raft down the River Kelani – epic doesn't even begin to describe this excursion. We'll gear up for the thrills to come with a delicious lunch in the leafy surrounds of a typical restaurant. Then, after a quick safety briefing, it's all ‘downhill' from here.
You'll raft down the Kelani River, where whitewater rapids foam up in a wild jungle setting. Take on the fast-flowing rapids as you zoom downstream, and around every corner, there could be another thrilling drop. Then, as the river widens, you'll pass the location used for the classic film, The Bridge on the River Kwai, which is also the perfect spot to jump in for a swim

Fantastic Memory Makers!
Having just returned from an amazing 2 weeks at the Riu in Sri Lanka with some wonderful memories made all the more special by Tony and his family.
We contacted Tony from the UK prior to leaving with details of what we wanted to see and where we wanted to visit. Tony’s communication was great, he gave us great ideas and set up an itinerary. Both Tony and his son met us in the hotel lobby for a drink when we arrived to go over everything in more detail and introduce themselves personally.
We visited Siguriya, Kandy, the Elephant Orphanage, saw Whales in Mirissa, got up close with the Elephants in Udawalawe National Park, walked the walls of the Dutch fort in Galle and paid our respects at the Tsunami memorial, to name a few.
Each tour was organised and planned well, we had our own driver and comfortable, air conditioned car. Tony went out of his way to ensure we got the most out of every trip, and made us feel part of his family, it all rounded up with a visit to his family home to experience some home cooking and the real Sri Lanka. Wonderful memories!
