DAY 2 - YALA SAFARI AND UDAWALAWE ELEPHANT TRANSIT HOME
YALA NATIONAL PARK
Begin your second day with an exhilarating Jeep safari in Yala National Park, known for its high leopard density and diverse wildlife. As your 4×4 weaves through grasslands and dense jungle, you might spot leopards, elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. The park’s diverse ecosystems make it a haven for wildlife lovers.
UDAWALAWE ELEPHANT TRANSIT HOME
After the safari, head to the Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home, where orphaned or injured elephants are rehabilitated and prepared for release into the wild. Watch as young elephants are fed and cared for and learn about the conservation efforts that help protect Sri Lanka’s majestic elephants.
