EXPLORING THE CULTURAL HEART OF SRI LANKA

Galle, the jewel of Sri Lanka, is an enchanting fusion of cultures and architectural styles. Its old world charm is reflected in the Galle Fort, which has served as a melting pot of nationalities and faiths throughout history. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Galle Fort retains its eclectic architectural influences and is still a vibrant hub for both locals and tourists. This Galle Day Tour is packed with a variety of experiences that combine history, culture, and nature. You will explore the charming streets of old Galle, spot wildlife on a River Madu boat ride, and visit a moonstone mine.

REVIEWS

An amazing day in Galle

We had a fantastic experience with Tony’s Tours, booking an airport pick-up and a Galle day tour via Facebook. The pick-up was smooth, and the tour was personalized to our preferences. Highlights included releasing baby turtles at the Turtle Hatchery, a scenic Madhu River Safari, a moonstone mine visit with no sales pressure, spotting stilt fishermen in Weligama, and exploring Galle Fort. We also visited a fruit market, the Tsunami Photo Centre, and the “Good Karma Hospital” site. Tony was an accommodating and informative guide, providing a comfortable, air-conditioned ride at a reasonable price.
Highly recommended!
